Sharpe Bros. has earned commendations for its two area asphalt plants from the National Asphalt Pavement Association (NAPA).
The Diamond Achievement Commendation for Excellence in Hot-Mix Asphalt Plant/Site Operations also known as the Green Diamond Award recognizes superior performance in appearance, operations, environmental practices, safety, permitting and regulatory compliance, and community relations.
Both Sharpe Bros. plants one on Lebanon Road, the other on Burnt Poplar Road earned the commendations.
This is an honor in which a company and a community can take great pride, said NAPA Chairman Ron White. It demonstrates a corporate commitment to excellence, with a community focus.
